Welcome to Intrinsic - a software and AI platform to build, deploy, and operate robotic solutions.

To get started, it’s helpful to understand what a solution means within Intrinsic. A solution is an application that controls hardware — like robots and cameras — to perform tasks, either in simulation or on real workcells. With Intrinsic, your journey typically starts by building the solution, then deploying it to real hardware, and finally operating it in a production environment. You may find it more convenient to deploy to hardware during the build phase to streamline development and testing.

Key Phases​

  • Build - Create, iterate, and validate your solution in a virtual environment.
  • Deploy - Connect your solution to real hardware and calibrate.
  • Operate - Run your solution using an operator HMI to execute real production tasks.

You’ll start by building and deploying solutions using Intrinsic Flowstate, our graphical development environment. If you need more flexibility or advanced functionality, you can also write code using the Intrinsic development container and SDK, then install what you develop into Flowstate.

To begin, sign in to Flowstate and create your first solution. If you’re new to Flowstate, we suggest exploring the Pick-and-Place tutorial in our tutorials section to get familiar with the basics.
