Intrinsic platform introduction

The Intrinsic platform is a robotics and AI software framework designed to help users create diverse automation solutions. Initial releases are tailored to address the specific demands of industrial robotics, while subsequent versions are envisioned to expand into other areas of robotics, such as mobile robots.

The platform provides tools, workflows, and components for robot solution development. A key component of the platform is Flowstate, a web-based UI that streamlines the design process for robotic solutions, from concept to implementation. Solutions are built in Flowstate by composing assets, which represent reusable modules of data or software. Users can leverage a growing catalog of pre-built assets, including capabilities in robotics and perception, thereby avoiding the time-consuming groundwork required to create automation solutions from scratch. Or they can create new assets either in Flowstate or by using the Intrinsic SDK. Solutions thus built can be simulated on cloud-based virtual machines, and can either be simulated or run on real hardware if deployed to an on-premise device.
